App Crashes, Floating Icon Disappearance, or Connection Read Failures

If an application crashes, its floating icon disappears, or an accessory shows a successful connection but the phone cannot read device information, please try the following device-specific solutions. The steps below are generally applicable to most apps; please find your target application in the respective settings menus.


RedMagic Phones/Tablets

1.Navigate to Settings > Apps > [Target App] > Battery Usage > Battery Optimization. 

2.Set the options for Auto-start, Associated Startup, and Background Activity to "Allow".


VIVO Phones/Tablets

1.In Settings, go to the "Game Toolbox" (or similar feature) and disable it for the target app.

2.Go to Settings > Apps > Application Management > [Target App] > Permissions. Enable Auto-start and Associated Startup, and grant all other relevant permissions.

3.Go to Settings > Apps > Application Management > [Target App] > Battery. In Background Power Consumption Management, find the app and select "Allow High Power Consumption in Background".


OPPO Phones/Tablets

1.On the home screen, find and open "Game Center" (or similar). Go to its settings, select Game Management, and remove the target app/game from the list.

2.Go to Settings > Apps > App Management > [Target App] > Power Consumption Management. Enable "Allow background activity" and set "Abnormal Power Consumption Optimization" to "Do not optimize".

3.Go to Settings > Apps. In Auto-start and Associated Startup, find the target app and enable it.

4.Ensure the target app is exempt from the "Manage Idle Apps" feature.


OnePlus Phones/Tablets

1.On the home screen, find and open "Game Center" (or similar). Go to its settings, select Game Management, and remove the target app/game from the list.

2.Go to Settings > Apps > App Management > [Target App] > Power Consumption Management. Select "Allow all background activity".

3.Go to Settings > Apps. In Auto-start and Associated Startup, find the target app and enable it.


Xiaomi Phones/Tablets

1.Open the "Security" app, find "Game Accelerator", click the settings icon, and disable it for the target app.

2.Go to Settings > App Settings > App Management > [Target App] and enable Auto-start.

3.In the same menu, go to Battery Saver and set the policy to "No Restrictions".

4.In the recent apps view, lock the target app to prevent it from being cleared from memory.
